Wishing From The Nightmare

by Littlewriter-a   Sep 13, 2008

From the bottom of her heart
The endlessness of her soul,
That one empty space,
From that one broken place.

Silent cries all through out the night,
A shinning moon, the dark thing that's
Casting shadows throughout the room.

Darkening circles under her eyes,
The tear stained places where she let out her cries.
Her silent pleading for it to stop.
And her endless dreams of falling skies.

More pleading whispers,
More darkening places,
More frightening words,
Coming from the empty spaces.

Memories to haunt her,
Feelings to numb her,
Whispers to frighten her,
All coming from this darkening place.

Free falling down,
The ground coming so fast,
She knew this was meant for her to be her one last.
One last scream and one last plea,
For this is now, and her tears make it hard to see.

Hitting her like a brick,
A sharp jolt through the chest,
A screaming pain as she sits upright.
Panting and crying,
For she is waking up to her reality which she thought she escaped.

The nightmares continue,
As they turn to more pleading whispers,
More darkening places,
More frightening words,
Coming from the empty spaces.

Only theses aren't nightmares she's having,
They're memories.
Those long and frightful nights,
The pain and numbness without any lights.
The tear stained places she created.

Never to escape as hard as she tries,
She's stuck here in this world,
Forced to live in lies.
Saying she's fine when she's not,
Hiding everything she wishes would be forgot.

How long she can do this no one knows.
As the nightmares continue,
The reality gets harsher.
And in the end,
Her only escape,
Is from the bottom of her heart,
To the endlessness of her soul,
To that one empty space,
The few things she knows, comes from that one broken place.
