Sadness is a Sickness

by Sarah   Sep 14, 2008

My life was sometimes bad
Just the way I felt inside
When everyone around me
Wondered why I cried

But now something happened
I'm way to stoked to be upset
Nothing makes me sad no more
Nothing to regret

I'm living in the moment
Making the most out of my life
I'm making MYSELF happy
No more struggle, no more strife

I don't care what people think
What they say or what they do
I'm here to please myself
Not you or you or YOU

Say what you wanna say
As if I'm gonna care
Go ahead, talk about me
I'll even let you stare

But do one little favor
Just this simple little please
Go away if you're sad
I don't want your disease

My sadness was a sickness
You could catch it right away
I was a sad soul
And I had my time to pay

I really like this piece and how you have 'changed your life around, so to speak. I enjoyed your words and how powerful they were. So meaningful, 5/5. Em x
