The feelings that were left masked

The friendship that was supposed to last

It was a special kind of friendship
It was that amazing kind of unique
We were all each other needed

We spent so much time together
You had a blueprint to my heart.
If I ever needed you- you would hurry right over

Then life hit us with the reality
That we were leading two separate lives these days
Lives we could've spent together
But we chose to go our separate ways.

All the feelings that went unspoken have made me shed so many tears

But now we're just a memory
