I let myself Go

by Jenn   Sep 15, 2008

I stood there watching you while you said Goodbye...
I bet you'd think I'd lose sleep at night; take some time to cry...
But the minute you walked out the door, and hit the road,
Honey, I let myself go.

I let myself go on that expensive cruise,
I went to New York City,
Where I spent days at the spa,
I bet you never guessed I'd come back so pretty.

Sure I gave you my soul; my heart...
I bet you thought I would fall apart.
But When I read your goodbye Note,
I knew I had to let myself go.

So I went to Las Vegas,
Took A Career In New York City
I spent all your money living at the spa,
And I came back all so pretty.
When You said you didn't love me no more,
Honey, I let myself go.
