Never your queen

by NineteenMinutes   Sep 15, 2008

You bought me roses, read me poetry, told me things only I knew,
Wiped my tears, kissed the end of my nose and I couldn't help but fall for you,
You called me beautiful names that no one else did said that I was your queen,
Called me last thing at night, first thing at morning, claimed I showed you things you'd never seen,
You told me we were eternal that nothing could tear us apart,
That I was as beautiful as an angel and I just gave you my heart,
How was I to know that you didn't mean it that everything you said wasn't true,
That this person I'd grown to love, this perfect being wasn't you,
And now I see you kissing there nose and I know that I was in a dream,
You called me beautiful names that no one else did but I was never your queen!
