Cruel Stranger

by zariieee   Sep 16, 2008

You've brought me here again..
to the opening of this damn tunnel.
You push me into it,
I could still see the sunlight.
You drag me in deeper against my will,
The light gradually fading.
Into the darkness, the heart of this cave,
In which I make my sweet surrender.

I know this cave like the back of my hand,
You've thrown me in here many times before.
I kick, I scream, yet you laugh at my pain,
You watch me lay here bitterly.

Who are you..
For you are not my beloved, you are a mere stranger.
I lay here for a while.

You begin to look familiar again, you suddenly give a shit.
you take me out to the sun.
I beg of you, I plead,
Don't do this again

Unanswered prayers-
The stranger is back to hurt me,
I'm thrown into the sea of sharks known as misery.
It's a never-ending cycle:
"I love you, don't leave me,
You always seem to decieve me."

Yet I always come back..
Why must you be my weakness, sickness and twisted as it seems,
my only peace of mind.
