Pointless little poems, I'll tell you of my day. Watch the field of daisies drop and rise and sway. Sit and close your eyes, the world shifts 'round your head. Lay back now in the starlight, smile, laugh, pretend. Pale blues and softest whites; you're sleeping on a cloud. Softly falling under, music all around. The world, she is a'shifting, nothing stays the same. Everything is breaking; darling, you don't like this game? Sunshine's now comes blinding, can't see around these sparks. The music's gone, here comes the dawn, sunshine breaks the dark. Struggle to sit up faster, don't fall in the pollen cloud. What do we do now, loved one, we're falling faster down? Daisies burn in sunlight, ashes sprinkle through the air. Why is nothing complete? Where are you, oh, where? This sky is never ending blue, pacific ocean up above. Flawless, perfect, cerulean... crisp, echoing false love. Everywhere is burning, smoke devours the sky. Daisies fall and burn away, you fall down and die. Story of a day gone wrong, sunshine engulfing our reckless games. Daisy chains and ashen rains, nothing feels the same.
