Let Me Be Your Laughter

by Weeping Wolf   Sep 17, 2008

You may come home,
with your struggles harsh
But, still you find ways
to entwine your words into my lips
to conjure a smile made just for you.

And when you feel so wretched
as though your intestines and thoughts
are spilled across the street
let me be your lightness
that somehow surpasses the gravity
of all the world's icebergs on your shoulders.

And when your brooding friend, Loneliness
shows his pale and shameless head,
let me be your laughter
though at times it may seem uncontrollable,
teasingly benevolent or intolerable,
I am just loving every shout, every whisper
as I try to imagine your smile.

And at times when the fever of stale harshness
leaves a sickening taste on your tongue
let me be your ravishment
that covers the disease with honey kisses
and let my arms enclose within them, my only desire.

My love, let me be your laughter,
in times you cannot muster the breath to laugh,
so that mine will echo in the walls of your heart
Strong and sweet enough till I can provoke the smile
I have been so longing to see.

    Arigato for the last comment, onee :] <33
    yeah... sumtimes it takes a lot just to sum up the courage of getting over sumbudy. it's kinda like you need to summon up a hurricane sometimes, just to wipe away everything you believed in about that person and their actions...

    but in my case, it's more of not forgetting... it's about realizing that some things are not meant to happen at the moment you wish they could...
