Rejuvenated

I hate you for everything you put me through
For all the tears I've cried, for all the blood I've shed
I despise your game-like ways and your ignorance of reality
For everyday I see you, my heart still skips a beat
But the anguish still remains from all your merciless deceit

You burned a hole into my chest, where my tainted heart once lay
Now I feel so empty, so bleak, so unbearably naive;
to think that you'd have ever cared
I feel like a prisoner, trapped within these walls,
with no hope of getting out, no possible escape
You stare at me with eyes so cold, so emotionless, so significantly apathetic
Your impassive, careless glower pierces me with daggers through my soul

I detest your very being and every single breath you take
Your eerie presence inflicts a shiver down my spine
I loathe the suffrage you've bestowed upon my heart
Your intentionally malicious hostility slowly tears me apart..
But with every piece that breaks, a change is taking place

And I am reborn.

    I haven't read anything new from you in a while but I am verrry glad I read this. :]

    Wow. That just ble me away! I couldnt have read this poem at a better time because it was so easy for me to relate. The way you described everything was so heartbreakingly beautiful and the emotions felt so real! Sometimes you fall in a love so deep and with all your heart you believe it will work but then youre left alone with questions and shattered dreams. You expressed that feeling so honestly and with so much passion that I read it more then once because it was so good.

    I could tell this came straight from you heart and am so glad to have read this masterpiece.

    Dude a lot of hate in the beggining which I don't blame you but in the ebd part "Reborn" Truly a strong word that no one will put you down...great poem

    WOW..
    not the best way to start a comment but WOW.. that should explain it.

    there is SO much of emotion and angst packed into this. it can really be felt. which is a mark of damn good poetry.Great work,indeed.

    the wording has been no less that excellent, to the point , and they deliver So well. i am in awe.

    -as i said before, so much emotion flows through this.. with so much energy and the angst is heartfelt.Superb!
