Burning

by Mishka   Sep 18, 2008

Silence is always a friend of mine
It is serene, kind and divine
I can stare motionlessly
At the fire burning me
And no sound will bark
My bones will burn
Flesh will cry
Tounge rolls
Back

I like your proposal: it is so sensitive, sensorial that flows through all the body, crossing the brain with the heart (an interesting mix). Good allegory of Silence (the best friend ever because only Silence gives us peace at hard moments..., the music too, but that's another affair ^^

    Excellent work!

P.D: Thanks for read and comment my recent poem. Your opinion is interesting to think it about. I like your impression after all my diffusions ;)

    Greetings.

Wow, Val, this was an amazing poem. I like how you described it, how I can picture it in my head, and how you put so much emotion into it. It was wonderful Val...
