Suicide in heaven

by resisting reason   Sep 18, 2008

Up in heaven
Angels are crying
And if you stop and look
They're never flying

They only sit on there clouds
Looking down on planet
Thinking this cant be it
Can it

They wail and scream
To express their fears
But their wails and screams
Fall on deaf ears

We ignore their pleas
Because we don't want their help
Because no one believes
There's actually a hell

So when they've had enough
They hang themselves from their clouds
To show that they've given up
To show that we're to proud

But their deaths were in vain
Because even when the halos were broken
"better off without them"
Were the only words spoken

Now we're alone
Surrounded by broken halos and wings
Left to fend for ourselves
From evil things

If suicide in heaven
Is not enough
Then there's no point in trying
So I'm giving up

I love this. its amazing, and it makes me feel less insane for thinking we, as humans, are ignorant and awful creatures. but hey, i know you dont think that. not the way that i do anyways.
