Language of the heart

by Sweetdream   Sep 18, 2008

I have come to understand the nature of love,
Not that I necessarily learned what it was.
But now that I have been enlightened,
I leap head first and am no longer frightened.
For I have uncovered the secret of divine arrangements,
Exposed the purpose of eternal soul mates,
A perfect match wouldn't be divine or coy,
With out collaboration and growth you'd find no joy,
The secret which remains untold,
That people seem to ignore even as they grow wise and old,
Language is emotion but it's figuratively spoken,
So each person has a different code that needs to be broken,
We speak the same words with vastly different meaning,
So a person can claim to comprehend with out ever really seeing,
So that coy celestial trick,
Is not guaranteeing it's matches to stick.
Soul mates speak a common language of the heart,
So their meaning is clearer from the start,
However in the end it falls on you,
To decipher all your lover's clues.

"However in the end it falls on you,
To decipher all your lovers clues."
    yes yes and yes.....and...
when it IS your soulmate..it is,
    indeed, a "collaboration"

(by the way, in the last line, lovers needs an apostrophe: lover's...indicating possession of those sometimes random and
    always meaningful 'clues'...)
