Sadness starts to creep

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Sep 18, 2008

Sad is a word too little
Unhappy is a feeling too small
Tired of acting all is fine
And raising her head and walking tall

Misery is an underrated word
Desperation is a little too deep
Just when she thought she was happy again
Sadness starts to creep

Maybe she's not meant to be happy
Or maybe she just has bad luck
She always says life is beautiful
But deep down she knows it sucks

She doesn't want the riches
She just wants to be left alone
She'd replace her useless kindness
For a cruel heart made of stone

Misery is an underrated word
Desperation is a little too deep
Just when she thought she was happy again
Sadness starts to creep
