You took me to the highest mountain. You showed me the world and told me: "This is what I can give you." I was promised the world. I was promised that no matter how high I flew, I would always be home. I spread my wings. Flew with trust. The you pulled the strings between us. I crashed to the ground. I'd fallen with betrayal in my heart. Never wanted to trust ever again. Especially you. I thought you were there to help. Not to watch me fall. You took me to the highest mountain. You showed me the world and told me: "This is what you can fight to get." I fight. And for small periods of time I get to fly. Only to crash and burn over and over again. Every time I have flown with trust. Every time I have fallen with betrayal. Every time with scars on my soul. You took me to the highest mountain. You showed me the world and told me: "This is what you can't have."
