Touch it, Taste it

by StandStill   Sep 19, 2008

Tonight, this night, is glowing.
Can you touch it, taste it, dear?
Tastes like lemon zest and magic,
sounds like sunshine and drying tears.

The stars are shining silver,
touch them to your hands.
Welcome to a world of wonders,
where not a thing is planned.

Larger stage called life,
improving out our scenes.
We're crawling by so quickly,
you know what I mean.

Angel wings are soaring,
way up in the sky.
We'll join there little midnight games,
too damn good to die.

Lights and sounds are everywhere,
hold onto shooting stars.
Swing me to the moon and back,
we'll sing our way to mars.

Eyes are sparkling in the darkness,
touch it, taste it, dear.
Welcome to the morning,
nothing left to fear.
