Kiss The Girl

by Paralyzed   Sep 19, 2008

Crooked smile,
Sideways glance,
Hearts are pounding,
Take a chance.

Quivered lips,
Nervous eyes,
Sweaty hands,
Shaking thighs.

Leaning in,
Hesitation,
Filling with,
Such trepidation.

Succumb to it,
This wanton need,
Loves first kiss,
Desire's greed.

Hungry mouth,
Racing mind,
Weakened by,
The heat you find.

Consume the moment,
Drift and sway,
Kiss this girl,
And melt away.

Very nice work...you've captured this moment so well and so precisely; with maturity, which is often what these types of poems lack. So congrats, a good read!

Wonderful work here, I don't know why no one else has commented on this, seriously. Your poems really spple out to me and take my breath away. Your style in your poems are outstanding, and your word choice flowed and set the scene perfectly. The descriptions and emotions in this piece was immense, and I love this so much. Good work, 5/5 from me. Keep writing, always and forever...
