Love Risk

You seem happy to be with him
there is no room now for us to begin
he's holding on to every part of your skin
deep inside you're burning to commit a sin

I'm not expecting anything much from this
at times I wonder what would happen if we were to kiss
you said you love him but your heart refuse to be his
you prefer the one that's not on the list

But you're afraid of taking the risk
your heart is not in peace
the current puzzle just doesn't seem to fit
every story has got it's twist

you seem to developed a sleeping disease
you're caught up in a love mist
the deep sensation that is buried underneath
bringing out the juice you tried so hard to squeeze

the only way out is to find the key
the door that will open for you and me
a gust of wind blew past the trees
welcoming the morning breeze

you're now in your twenties
clutching on to your secret diaries
your heart is struggling to breathe
not wanting to regret the moments you didn't seize

    Your poems always say so much, I believe it speaks what your heart seem to scream and done in such a wonderful flow and worded so all can relate.
    The above stanza is perfection, it grabbed me and wouldn't let go.

    I'm not very keen on haikus either, but I had to do them for a class, so I put them on here. Thanks for the input.

    Dear Azzza,

    When two people are meant to be, they will find a way to be together, I am sure of that.
    I think it was pretty special you wrote it from her point of view. You made a beautiful and meaningful poem:)
    I know from bitter experience an online love affair is very difficult to endure..you long for the other so much...
