Lover's Death (collab)

There I was standing, talking our little chats of depression,
I hear a gunshot as I see her fall to the floor; I look up with aggression,
No one in sight, I look down to see her in so much pain,
I hug her tight, and tell her that she will make it again

There we are, walking hand in hand in the park
The moon is shining, all of a sudden, chaos in the dark,
What just happened, my senses can't understand
I lean down towards his body, bloody, I hold his hand

I hear lightning followed by the rain: I grasp her hand tightly,
I look away so she does not see my tears, I let go of her hand lightly,
What if she does not make it?
I could see her face turn pale, her eyes gets weary, I cannot confess; time does not permit

My body is trembling, at the sight of his weakness
His eyes are closing slowly, all he feels is bleakness
What if his heart stops beating?
I can see his blood flow increasing, his soul letting loose, his life is depleting

I can see her heartbeat steadily declining,
She whispers goodbye, her eyes shining,
I scream "No"; I won't let the love of my life die in my arms,
I apply a little pressure on the wound, as I see the paramedics and the ambulances alarms

I know he is trying not to close his eyes
I know this pain has his mind telling lies
He thinks he will be okay, he thinks he will be his girl's prince
But slowly he is leaving this world, he'll never see his little girl

I stare as the paramedics take her away,
My life will never be the same from this day,
I sit here and shed tears; because I never had the chance to,
Maybe one day I can confess my love to her, and maybe she'll be my boo

I shed my broken tears as his soul flies into the sky,
Have I ever felt this way--never, never seen a best friend die.
Something has been given to me, then taken away, instantly
That night in the park, while we were holding each other
A ring hugged my tiny finger, thinking forever I would be with my lover.
