The Lord has placed his hands upon us

The Lord has placed his hands upon us,
To guide us and to care.
When you think he has given up,
Look again he's still there.

The Lord has placed his hands upon us,
To show us of his love.
He's there through thick and thin,
And when push turns to shove.

The Lord has placed his hands upon us,
To take the pain we feel.
When we think it's to much to bare,
The Lord begins to heal.

The Lord has placed his hands upon us,
To love us and to protect.
When we accept him into our hearts,
We begin to feel the Lords effect.

The Lord has placed his hands upon us,
To guide us through our days.
When we need him to help us through,
Just get on your knees and pray.

The Lord has placed his hands upon me,
To help me write the poem your reading here.
In hopes of bringing some of you comfort,
And to show you how much he cares.
