Reflection

I looked myself into the mirror
hoping that things would get clearer
but the mirror has turn against me
it has only gotten blurrer

In a state of confusion
I drown myself in delusion
trying to envision
how to be a better person

In the darkness of the night
I seek a light
what seems so dark
is now so bright

Destiny has taken me
to an all new heights
I know where I stand now
and I now stand with pride
