The Summer I Was Sixteen

by Ali   Sep 21, 2008

The summer I was sixteen
would take too long to explain.
I could tell all the details,
but I think that I'll refrain.
It's a summer I will always remember;
to be blunt it was real swell.
I became fluent at slurring my words,
and falling down as well.
To say in the least
amount of verbs and nouns,
I did the dumbest things that summer
and the memories make my head pound.
