The best

by AnnMarie   Jun 6, 2004

Everyone tells you
They're the best years of your life,
But no one ever tells you
That they're full of fear and strife.

From a child to a teen
In less then a year,
A teen has little fun
But it's mostly full of fear.

As a teen you feel locked up
As a child you're always free,
A child has no worries,
Which would you rather be?

A teen knows the meaning of love
So when they get hurt they fall,
The worries of being accepted
Is the hardest part of all.

What's the best
About these years,
When as a teen
You're always full of tears.
