The Choice I have to Make

by Andrew Smith Gamilla   Sep 22, 2008

I must choose what will become of me now
Given the precious time that had passed by, I must decide
The state where I belong must suffer from what I will choose
I will no longer be a floating entity in this world

Lay before me are the things that prevent me from leaving
They are the so-called attachments that I must let go
I must stop clinging to them for they drag me and slow me down
I have to start my pace and make my first move

I overlook the long journey that awaits my life
Time was wasted with the stubbornness I did
Many are waiting to meet me in the end
They are very eager to what choice I will make
