Sorrow

by Shellaine shelli   Sep 22, 2008

The blood was dripping from the ceiling
splattered all over
no place to take cover,
the knife was lying at her side....
if only the world knew how hard she tried
and this is why she took her life.
cutting was a cry for help,
a way in which to save herself
a beautiful angel fallen from grace.
the pain was seen
in her sorrow filled face
but now she is gone and although
she can no longer speak for herself
her suicide told the story
of a girl screaming for help...

This poem is like a short story that tells how sad is that girl..

"cutting was a cry for help,
a way in which to save herself"

Those lines touched me bcoz I believe in that the pain of cutting heals the pain of the heart besides it's a way to scream out loud to be heard by others..
    Great job Shellaine..Keep it up..
