Last Moments

by The Lonely Rose   Sep 23, 2008

Give me the light.
The light to my pain.
Consequentially dark,
Fearful bliss.

Whisper in my ear.
That everything will be alright.
Be the comfort that I crave.
My warmth,
My strength,
Hold me in your arms.
As I lay tonight

Let your musical notes sing,
Sing it loud.
Play my dying wish.
Upon this little kiss.
For you will be my only bliss.

To this very night upon my last breath
I'll only tell you for my dying words
Of all the words never said.
All the love I never shared.
The tears never shed
For soon My Angel of Death will come upon me,
Take me,
To never return

  • Lovely poem!
I liked the force of it from the beggining. although the end does fade a little... it didn't have as much as an impact as the beggining, but other than that your choice of words was wwonderful!
