I lie awake in my room
Writing this poem just for you.
I lie awake late at night
Cause I can never get you
Off my mind.
The way you look me
In the eyes
You always give me the butterflies.
I seem to forget to speak
When you're standing
Right next to me.
Your smile...
Your eyes...
Your laugh...
Everything about you
Makes me happy.
And that's because
I'd wait forever
To be with you
So you can hold me close
