I see love and hate
and i see rivers of salty tears
and i see the boundaries of a state acting the like
bars of a prison cell
and i see smiles plastered to faces like Barbie dolls
i see through these eyes.
i see confusion
and i see despair
and i see desperation seeping through the T.V.
and i see reliance on any dirt we spot bugs in
i see through these eyes.
i see pain
and i see killing for pleasure
and i see dictatorship
and i see an all time low
i see through these eyes.
i see embarrassment
and i see a need for help we're too humiliated to ask for
and i see brothers backstabbing brothers
and i see the world we've become
i see through these eyes. . .
what should not be seen.
