A Slip

by Ignoris   Sep 23, 2008

A haze, a fog, or reality's dream
When nothing's quite like what it seems

A clouded mind, distraught, unclear
Too dead to realize, that life's right here

It'd be so simple, a slip of the knife
One lethal motion, to rid of the strife

Or maybe a swallow, of miscounted pills
No more would you feel, life's unending chills

And end to a song, the end came too soon
Perfection gave up, and so did the moon

It all goes away, there's no more to feel
Dreaming, abyss, it's life and death's deal

*Clap, Clap*.. Very nice. You should check out my poem "A little deeper, a little less". It gives off the same vibe as this one here did. 5/5.
