Fairy tale dream

Beyond the realms of love and hate
These thoughts of mine still congregate
Thinking thoughts of days gone by
Of rich old men in strange attire

A bygone age is where I flee
When life just gets the best of me
So look you to this steely knight
Who slayed at last the dragons flight

Humming bird was her name
Sharpened edge, like the brightest flame
Gremlins brown and goblins green
Have fallen in this battle scene

She speaks to me with whispered tongue
Sire these fairy powers have come undone
Her golden hilt a leaden weight
No fairy wings to imitate

My newest quest now has begun
To have this leaden curse undone
To seek a fairy very old
With gossamer wings laced with gold

In a forgotten land with lemon seas
Purple hills and stony trees
Skies above of emerald hue
Grass below the deepest blue

On winged steed of snowy white
I entered in a cave so bright
Was in this cave that she did dwell
Once more she cast her fairy spell

My humming bird regained her flight
She lives once more, for the righteous fight
So once more my thoughts descend
This is where my story ends
