Insane??

I'm holding on
But barely
Insanity beats at the feeble barriers
Protecting my mind

I'm losing ground
And slipping away
These battles rage inside

I'm dropping
Into confusion
And deceit
Falling into this pit of despair

Turmoil rocks my core
Splitting me wide open
Revealing what lies beneath my skin

unable to confess
Unable to be silent

I'm screaming
Until my breath has all but ceased
And death is at my door
