Aw, this is a very emotional piece. the main idea of it was terrific, i loved it, and although in your profile you say your no poet, i disagree.. this is a very nice poem.

im going to give this a 4. before you think "oh she just said it was great and now shes not giving it a 5" let me explain.

yes, i liked your poem.. but it could have been better had you put a little more into it.
some rhymes you used are a bit cliche and kind of ruin the mood- so maybe try to bring more of your own originally into the piece.
In some places the flow was off and at some points i wasnt sure if i should read it as a free verse or a rhyming poem..
so those are just a few things to think about.. im sure my poems arent perfect either. but this is just my honest opinion.
