It is nothing

by thehangman   Sep 24, 2008

Often as
I go through my day,
I find myself
In the sky above looking down

It's like I'm watching me
My decisions and my life

Thinking how silly it all is
How unimportant
How trivial

My life is smaller than a grain of sand
What I do with it will not affect the world
My troubles are nothing when compared to the earth

So why does it matter?
Why can't we understand
That no matter how much we suffer, and change
It will not change a thing

We complain about this and that
We curse the world for it's cruelty and inability to please our whims
When all these things, these little things
Are nothing

Wow. A good point bought up.
One persons life can be so unimportant its not funny and in the blink of an eye it could dissapear. We complain about things that are so trivial when there are people out there that can only dream of having our lives.
    5/5 for sure.
    Keep it up.
