On again, or off again?

There was a time,
when I could not imagine my life,
without you there next to me,
without you by my side.

But, when all of what we had,
ended so badly, so sad,
I was ready to give up on our love,
and move along alone in my life.

So I did what I did,
and I was alone on the hardest path,
in the darkness where noone was able to find me,
and my love, my heart and soul were dead.

A year and a half has passed,
since we haven't spoken to eachother.
I wonder, has the time come
for us to try and be again together?

Years and years behind,
I had you by my side.
But, last year when I most needed you,
you weren't there and I could not find you.

Every event was reminding me of you
Our birthdays, New Year, and Christmass too,
I never knew what to do,
all I knew was that I loved you, missed you
Oh, how I've missed you.

Now, I catch you looking at me every day,
You talk about me when I'm away.
You don't want to show,
But I know
There's something more there,
something that's yet to be diskovered.

So I'm asking you
for the last time giving you
this courageous queston:
Do you wish to try again?
