Autumn Blues

I have nothing, I feel nothing
I am empty and cold -hollow
Everything inside was carved out
Rather fitting for the season
But you always said you had the right intentions
Maybe that wasn't enough

I took my love to a pawn shop
And sold it for a few dollars
Figured I shouldn't go wasting it around
Now I wear it on my chest
A cheap glassy blue heart necklace
And if he breaks it
Well at least I can replace it
