    WOW!!!! Great job!
    Absolutely incredible.

The imagery was great, and you really got a sense of what the speaker was feeling. The sadness and the pain were especially potent throughout.

I may be imagining it, but does the speaker also harbor some sort of bitterness toward the old man? The only reason that I ask is because the speaker was in so much pain, and the old man was peaceful and serene, even when facing his death.
The last stanza is what made me think of bitterness the most.

I also sensed some envy from the speaker towards the old man.

I also liked how you intertwined the rain with tears, how the window was "crying", and how it connected to the speaker's tears and pain.

The whole work is just well put together and nicely done.

    Great work!!!

    Keep writing!!!

    5/5

  • Yes you understood exactly what the poem was about. you're right the speaker was envious toward the old man for being so calm and serene. while she's in so much pain. and the bitterness trhough out the poem was a way for her to cope with every thing life has given her and now that this old man stands there so calm she gets more agry with the unfairness of life...anyway thank you for reading my poem!!
