Her Lullaby

by SorrowsWhisper   Sep 26, 2008

Let me sing you a lullaby
Of a girl and nothing more
Caged by four walls
No key for the door.

Her long, flowing hair
Clings to her face
Grasping at those tears
That fall with such pace.

Fading into the darkness
Into the shadows of the night
Into the everlasting nightmares
To a future of sadness and fright.

Unloved and unwanted
No longer does she care
"Good night" she softly whispers
To this world that she cannot bare.
