Dismantle, Revitalize, and Live

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Sep 26, 2008

Each puzzle should be demolished,
with the pieces spread everywhere.
All things in working order abolished,
generously discarded without a care.

The last land has been destroyed.
Time to move on to our own.
Our land is currently a simple void,
but will quickly be grown.

Built up with one thing left to do,
establish the population,
for it's the land's source of glue.
We have our foundation.

Conquer, build, and reproduce.
That is our simple quest.
We seem to have no further use,
unimportant are the rest.

Some say we should do more,
but that's foolish to simply give.
Why can't we just ignore;
dismantle, revitalize, and live?

    Somehow this stanza rings true.
Your poem is very well done and intelligent in it's wording. I was pleased that I found and read it. I am trying to go through poems from the club in order to get to know the members.
