Don't Mourn

by Lunabell   Sep 26, 2008

Is her smile a lie?
Are those tears in her eyes?

They know the truth that I hide
But I wont say for fear of my broken pride.

Will she be ok?
Can she last another day?

They know I'm nearing and end
My soul is far to gone to even try to mend

Can he save her life?
And end her souls bitter strife?

Lord tell him to not to waste his time
For my life isn't even worth a dime

Is she really just fading away?
Is she dying like they say?

I wont be here in the morning
So love this is a tiny warning

Will she leave us all alone?
What would they place on her head stone?

This is not goodbye
And when I die, please my love do not cry

Did you hear the news?
Or were we simply confused?

I have gained my wings
And I finally dance with the kings

She's really gone
She couldn't even last till dawn

My headstone rests in the shade
And I know they wish I would have stayed

She's in a better place
She's the seasons in all their grace

Do not mourn for my death
For I said I love you.with my final breath
