Pain going so deep

Hands entwined sweetly together,
Walking down the beautiful beach,
Ocean waves rolling in tides,
The love of her life just in reach,

A smile on his sweet angelic face,
In his strong perfect arms,
Feeling so safe here,
She knows with him there's no harm,

His beautiful Adonis features,
So god-like in every way,
She can't believes he's hers,
This is the perfect day,

She wakes up from her lucid dream,
From the light tap of rain, her heart takes a leap,
Tears fall from her eyes at the memories,
Her heart aches, the pain going so deep.
