You may regret it

She dreamt upon fairy tales,
And wished upon shooting stars,
But she tripped and fell,
Her dreaming was too far,

She learned her innocent lesson,
Mind who you wish for,
When your heart tells you, listen,
Because you never know what's in store,

Don't fall for someone who won't catch you,
And don't make them your world,
Even though the feeling is so new,
It may come crashing down on you girl,

So listen to your heart, soul, and mind,
Don't ignore the things that they say,
Because you never know what you'll find,
You never know, you may regret it each day.
