Smiling Tears

by Ş∂ņďħy∂   Jun 6, 2004

A clumsy cold night
Alone on her bed
She sunk into memories
With none to share

She drown to the dark
Dejected and depressed
Hard to forget
The absence of her ally

Golden beads rolled down
On her soft red cheeks,
Glittering in the dim lights
With occasional quiet sighs

At the hour of nights
Her grief gloomed often
Else it remain hidden
Behind a pasted smile

Forced to depart her dear
She passed years alone
Still with out giving up
She kept her hopes lite

"His" thoughts made her shudder
She felt her forehead
Where he kissed her last,
Or was that also just a dream?

She always heard in her dreams
A whisper of his, nearing her ears
"I will love you and only you"
Rolling his lips over her neck
Holding her hands tenderly
Tightening her in his arms
She stayed always close to him
Locked in her dreams like this!

The soft whispers...
Those warm hugs...
Caress kisses...
Will it ever turn true?

Why he never told her something?
Why he left her in mystification?
Why he planted hopes from day one?
Why he never came back to her?

She won't give up so soon!
She promised to bring her beau in bright
To search a twinkle in his eyes
Which may reflect the rays of love

A smile returned on her face
"I will find where ever he is
I won't suppress my love anymore
Nor let him hold back his too"

Golden beads rolled down again
On her soft red cheeks,
Glittering in the dim lights
But this time, the tears also smiled.
