The Yellow Walls

by Blueleo   Sep 28, 2008

Every where I look, yellow wall is there
Trapped in a house with walls so bare
The light reflects on every service here
It brings yellow to all that does appear

So empty does it feel when I am alone
My heart is empty and turning to stone
How I wish I could go crazy and let go
Freeing my soul and becoming a hero

So silly are the ideas that flow at night
Coming and going to release any fight
No meaning left to ponder a night away
Just another sleepless night before day

I like it. reminds me a bit of a old goth story where this woman goes mad in a room papered in yellow wallpaper after noticing a spot and slowly peels away at the room & her sanity,

^^ I know of the demons that can haunt you, when sleep refuses to take control of you.. You manged to describe this feeling very well:)

    Take care!

Thats a new read for me! You did very well on making it flow. just perhaps instead of repeating the word night, try using dusk or twilight =]

but i loved the second stanza the best. because i love it when wishes are put into writing, it makes me wonder why and ponder beyong the writing. but lol its funny how u included being crazy --> to a hero ^_^
