Coffee and Cigarette Smoke.

by Vanessa   Sep 28, 2008

Your all dressed up and got nowhere to go,
So you lye in your bed in your best clothes.
You say you do it for the adrenaline rush but I know its something much deeper.

Our minds are blurred by our cigarette smoke, and the air is filled with the smell of liquor.
You say, "for now this will be us, but oh you just wait we will be something much bigger. but I guess for now just pass the beer."

its getting late and I am beginning to hallucinate.
The street lights aren't keeping the darkness from coming this time.
So drown me with coffee to keep me wired.
And now its three in the morning and I am still far from tired.

I miss those days back at the old cafe, when we'd sit for hours just talking of the future. Those days were truly great adventures. I remember you would say how sooner or later all of this will make sense, and well I have been waiting for a while now.
