Hiding behind fake smiles,
We are all scarred.
Caged within our own walls,
We scream to be set free.
Why should we fear what we have created?
Why do these tears fall when no one is looking?
Can we change what we have become before it's to late?
Can we finally tell the secrets we have been keeping for so long?
We have lost ourselves among all the lies,
Playing our parts in this so-called life.
We don't know who we are,
Only who they want us to be.
So now we are left to ourselves,
With only unanswered questions.
Searching through all of our lies,
We try and find who we really are.
Why should we fear what we have created?
Why do these tears fall when no one is looking?
Can we change what we have become before it's to late?
Can we finally tell the secrets we have been keeping for so long?
