Thank You Poems For the Stars

Rainbows always have bad days,
they glitter in the light.
Butterfly wings, my darling,
of butterflies lost in flight.

Roses always have their thorns,
they make you bleed and cry.
Someone always leaves you..
always leaves you here behind.

Have you ever noticed
the sunshine burns too hot?
And the one day you want sunshine,
it's where it should be not?

Funny how the bad days,
they outweigh the good.
Darling, I forget to thank you,
thank you when I should.

I'm sure you haven't noticed,
but sunshine feels just right
when the world is in your smile
and the stars are out that night.

There's no chance you could have seen,
roses bloom just for you, friend.
They're so eager to be wonderful
that they overflow and bend.

Dreams are always sweeter,
I want to thank you for that, dear...
I know I never say it,
but I love you, far or near.

You simply are my best friend,
you know just who you are.
