Life As It Is

As i stand,
Looking around,
My world slowing contently,
Never has it seemed so obvious,

Life as it is,
Not enough,
All we crave is more,
More than we can have,

What is it that we search?
What is that little extra?
Our lives so empty,
From the inside out,

Torn apart from reality,
Ripped away from time,

Life as it is,
Not what we expect,
Ups and downs,
Lows and highs,

All we have is each other,
We want to much,
We need to much,
Appreciates the little things,

Life as it is,
Thats good enough
