    Fate dealt them a monster,
    he drifted on death's cloud,
...but all I saw was love,
So blind... I see that now!

^^^Most beautiful stanza in the poem, dear Michael.
My comp is acting up again, so I cannot open your article, but I am prepared for the worst:(
We are the only known species that kill for fun:( My, how intelligent we are and how much better off than our animals that we think so little of.....
Much beautiful poem that points the finger in the right direction.

    Hugs,

When you shared this with me it broke my heart. How someone can take the lives of their own children. My mind can not comprehend. You did an excellent job putting this story to verse. Very emotional piece. The sadness and despair cry from each word.

    Take care

This is a sad situation that you have written with a careful and caring pen. It broke my heart, our children are so precious and look what happens to some.

Michael i almost didn't comment on this poem , it saddened me so my immediate response was extreme anger to the point of wanting to throttle the sod.
This has become a rather unfortunate occurence these past few years on a more and more regular basis.
    Very well written
