Can you feel the sadness that she brings?
Always so alone and on the edge of crying.
I want to comfort her,
but she pulls away from all the people.
Sits all alone on a park bench,
looking at the ground.
No friends around her to say it will get better.
No one found her when she died.
She never showed us that.
I see her walking during night
with her soul floating over her.
It's left her body, wanting to be free,
but it can't be free until the body's gone under the ground.
I see a car coming toward her,
no one driving it.
She doesn't make an attempt to run,
just looks at it and stops walking.
The car hits her at full speed,
her body thrown to the side.
And in that moment that her body died,
I thought I saw a smile.
The soul flew up toward the sky, headed for heaven,
where she truly belongs, my saving angel.
