Shall We Thrill

Shall we dance,
Friend of my heart?
Forsake all about us,
And enjoy this romance?

Steeling hearts from unpleasantries,
Wheeling underneath the vault above
Unfettered laughter escaping your lips,
Our bodies moving through the breeze

Shall we freelance our thoughts,
Succumb to our deepest desires?
By unspoken words we agree,
As I wonder "What have we wrought?"

As we are wont to do,
We suffer naught but pure elation
I trust you feel the same way-
Your favor I wish to accrue

Shall we become one,
Forget boundaries that hinder?
Let the blaze within each,
Become one raging inferno?

We are adamant,
On this most wondrous night
Paying no mind to the world about,
That is something I will grant

Shall we hold one another tight,
And whirl around endlessly?
