Past by a hurricane

by SYLA   Sep 30, 2008

I'm watching this storm take over our city,
tree's falling,the powers down.
The streets are empty,silent,everyone's hiding.
The wind keeps getting stronger, and so my fears too.
I'm sitting on the edge of my bed, watching this happen before me.
The sky is getting darker, seems like things are getting worse.
There are no lights working,no electricity,no phone or food.
Wonder how long until this storm passes through.
Sky is gray and black and the clock just striked five.
I miss the sun,the calm day too.
Our street is destroyed, our town is torned, our city fell apart, and so did our hope.
Down went the trees, and our faith, cries arose and could be heard.
Somebody help us rebuild.
This storm can kill us,take away everything.
We're stuck here in it,can't really run away.
It's only the beginning, the end is never near.
How do we get saved from this all,now it's too late...
